**** SUGAR the black lung theatre 27-31 mar

Another uncompromising and uncomfortable performance from Black Lung. The percussion and double bass add beauty to a tough tale of need, desire and jealousy. Style and substance abuse - the stakes are life and death for these lost and flawed characters. the dark side of life indeed.

8pm nightly until 31 mar…    $14   8418 8666  145 hindley st

**** b file 27-28 mar

puzzling and provacative - a perfect example of power games as played out by police (here, there, everywhere?) An important exploration of frustrating, uncomfortable reality.

**** [INTERROBANG] by unstoppable huxtable 29-30 mar

Separate, unrelated sections make up a diverse whole. A clown and a strongman talk philosophy and conjure memories of Monty Python. A persuasive video presentation that would convince any late night TV shopper to shell out their cash. And an athletic, gymnastic dance from three very flexible performers. Hampered by poor sightlines for those at the back of the venue, nonetheless a worthwhile and skilful show.
