Over 500,000 people visited The Garden during our 2006 season; a 100% increase on 2004.
68 acts performed 580 ticketed performances over a four week period plus there were more than 1000 sideshow performances on site.
Numerous acts played to sell-out houses including La Clique: A Sideshow Burlesque, The Candy Butchers, Mind Bending, The La La Parlour’s Tarnished, Omar Sosa Trio, The Burlesque Hour, Flat On Your Bacharach, Bernadette Robinson, Jimeoin, The Audreys, Kids Comedy Gala, Sam Simmons’ Erotic Cat, Bumpuppets and Andrew McClelland & Lawrence Leung’s Somewhat Secret Secret Society.

More than 25 schools attended YEP shows in The Garden.
We popped 85kg of corn and drank 260kg worth of coffee beans.
The Big Wheel revolved 65,000 times during the month and proved hugely popular with kids of all ages.
All up it was a brilliant month. Thank you for making it so much fun.
Visit Rundle Park in 5 days time and all will be left will be dry grass and indelible memories - you may even see the odd homeless ghost.

THE CIRCUIT BREAKER: The Sound of Human announces one extra show

The Bosco Theater - The Garden of Unearthly Delights
Saturday 11th March - 7.30pm
Tickets: $20 (Conc $16)
From the birth of the first drum machine in 1930, to the kooky bleeps and breaks of today, Ben Walsh goes head to head with the machines proving his legitimacy as an organic drummer and his determination not to be replaced by gizmos.
Humorous and revealing, Ben shares his internal battle between his love of the modern age and the juxtoposed worlds of ancient drum culture.
Creating a mash up of speakers and antique electronic gear, Ben recreates an old Jamaican soundsystem, booming bass and beats from his manic junk drums, as well as using found sound instruments.
Incorporating visuals and a seamless sound score Walsh catapults himself back into a multimedia performance environment, building a platform for his explosive performance style and dynamic musicianship.
