MELVOFEST 06 sat 28 jan

so yes, the lineup…in order (from first to last);
(an introduction to) HORSE LOVER FAT - three fine upstanding pillars of the adelaide pop underground join forces to create…something really good…we’re a little unsure…

thirdly on the stage;
SPINDICKLE - adelaide’s acoustic dark pop king struts the boards and uses the night to launch his brand new album of b-sides and rarities, pieces of carrot. looking forward to this. very muchly.
second to last;
SWEET RAXXX - the sassiest, hottest two piece this side of the tracks. spasticated electro lofi sex pop. bring your own sweat. grrrr.
and lastly;
ROO SHOOTER - and we do mean lastly as this’ll be the last ever time RS is going to play. the drunk punks say bye but still find time to release the long rumoured album the corruptor of me. there will be tears and beers.

Welcome to Paradise SPECIAL OFFER fri 27 and sat 28

We would like to offer all iNSPACE members the chance to see a great show this weekend for $10.
This production is great fun, and it’s the type of touring show that you won’t often get a chance to see in Adelaide.

Welcome to Paradise by Mainstreet Theatre tells the story of Nick, a maths graduate, city boy and a ‘typically English lad’ and his time at a remote station in the centre of Australia just next to the middle of nowhere.

Combining storytelling, live music and humorous vignettes on outback life, Welcome to Paradiseprovides a humorous look at the outsider in a strange situation while reflecting on what make us Australians. It’s a cross generational story that is a unique look at some of the great characters that make up Australia’s remote outback.

It’s the perfect show to see this Australia-Day week… you’d be a few beers short of a six pack to miss it!

DETAILS OF THE SPECIAL OFFER:

Show dates: Friday 27 January or Saturday 28 January, 8.30pm, Space

How to buy your tickets. Call BASS on 131 246 and quote iNSPACE to receive the special offer
